I am thrilled to share that I will join Nyenrode Business University as Professor of Inclusive and Sustainable Wellbeing and Pensions, starting 1 September 2025.

In a time of major societal transitions, pension funds can play a key role in shaping an economy that supports both financial security and broader wellbeing. Their long-term obligations give them a direct stake in a sustainable future — one in which beneficiaries can truly enjoy life after work.

I am proud to contribute to the development of knowledge, methodologies, and teaching for effective stewardship of such transitions. Nyenrode’s mission — serving society by shaping responsible leaders for a sustainable future — offers a strong foundation to bridge academic insight and leadership practice.

I will combine this position with my ongoing role as External Advisor to the Investment Committee of the Pension Fund for the Dutch Healthcare and Welfare Sector (PFZW).
